New Monthly Enterprises Survey

To provide timely economic monitoring during the war, IER conducts a monthly survey, “Ukrainian Business During the War,” based on the Business Tendency Survey (BTS) methodology. The study draws on assessments by company managers of current trends in production, exports, and employment, as well as their expectations for the next six months. The survey combines a regular component, harmonized with EU requirements, and a special component focused on the impact of the war and the effectiveness of government support for businesses.

The New Monthly Enterprises Survey was launched in May 2022 in response to the challenges posed by the full-scale invasion. Since then, the survey has been conducted with financial support from international partners, including the European Union, the International Renaissance Foundation, and the ATLAS Network.
