The Recovery Spending Watchdog №14, October 2024

The Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting, the Centre for Economic Strategy, and Technologies of Progress have presented the fourteenth issue of The Recovery Spending Watchdog.

The report covers the regulatory framework, the progress and financing of reconstruction, procurement analysis, journalistic investigations, and monitoring of specific areas, including water supply systems and demining.

The special focus of the fourteenth issue is whether there is room for recovery in the 2025 wartime budget. We examine the planned sources of reconstruction financing, dependence on funding from international financial institutions, as well as the challenges posed by limited resources and the need to set priorities.
