EU Directive 2024/1385: Challenges and Opportunities for Ukraine

The analytical report “EU Directive 2024/1385: Challenges and Opportunities for Ukraine” examines the alignment of Ukrainian legislation with European standards on combating violence against women and domestic violence. It provides a comparative analysis of current Ukrainian legislation and the provisions of Directive EU 2024/1385 to identify gaps and inconsistencies in the national legal framework.

The report assesses the level of alignment of Ukrainian legislation with EU requirements and identifies areas for further improvement. It also provides specific recommendations for legislative changes that could help bring Ukraine’s legal framework closer to European standards as part of the European integration process.
