Implementation of the European Charter for Equality of Women and Men in Vinnytsia Community

The report provides a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of the European Charter for Equality of Women and Men in Vinnytsia City Territorial Community and provides practical recommendations for strengthening gender equality policy at the local level in the context of Ukraine’s European integration. It identifies successful practices, systemic barriers and gaps in fulfilling the commitments under the Charter, and offers recommendations for local authorities in communities that have already joined the Charter as well as those considering doing so.

The experience of Vinnytsia demonstrates how the Charter can be used to structure local gender equality policies and plan relevant measures. The report also highlights opportunities to apply this experience in other Ukrainian communities in the context of European integration.
