Ukraine’s IT sector had been growing steadily before the full-scale invasion, but its development has been constrained by the effects of the war since 2022. The sector’s share of gross value added (GVA) has remained at around 3%, below its pre-war level, while declining data quality due to voluntary reporting may further affect estimates of its actual contribution to the economy.
