The Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting is pleased to announce the winners of the first wave of the grant competition “Reintegration, Education and Support for Veterans at the Community Level.”
The competition was conducted within the framework of the project “Resilience and Engagement for Ukraine: Empowering Civil Society to Address War-Caused Needs and Advance Ukraine along the EU Path” (REU) from April 30 to June 5, with the support of the European Union.
As a reminder, the goal of the grant competition is to support civil society organizations implementing programs for the psychosocial, educational, and economic reintegration of veterans throughout Ukraine (excluding temporarily occupied territories, active combat zones, and areas where security risks make project activities impossible).
This support is expected to expand veterans’ access to reintegration services, improve mental health, employment opportunities, and community involvement among veterans and their family members, as well as enhance the capacity of civil society organizations to implement programs aimed at supporting veterans.

- NGO “Association of ATO/JFO Participants, Veterans, Their Family Members, Volunteers and Persons with Disabilities “Mobile Volunteer Group” (Kropyvnytskyi) – SVOI: Support Close By.
- Public Union “Veteran House” (Zhytomyr) – New Horizon: Reintegration of Veterans on Probation in Territorial Communities.
- NGO “Patriots of the Native Land – Ukraine” (Cherkasy) – Veteran Support Platform in Communities – “Opora”.
- Kharkiv Regional NGO “Wives of ATO Veterans” (Kharkiv) – Psychological Support for Veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian War and Their Family Members.
- NGO “Poltava Region Adult Education Center” (Poltava) – Stronger Together: Veteran Experience and Educational Opportunities as a Resource for Community Resilience.
- NGO “Combat Brotherhood of War Veterans and Persons with War-Related Disabilities “Surma” (Ivano-Frankove, Lviv Region) – Community by Your Side: Reintegration, Education and Support for Veterans of the Yavoriv Area and Their Families through the “Roztochchia” Veterans Hub.
The signing of agreements with the selected grant recipients will commence will begin shortly to launch the projects.
