Project Objective: To support a data-driven approach to Ukraine’s EU accession process.
Goals:
- Provide analytical support to Ukrainian public authorities and assess the impact of legislative changes required for alignment with the EU acquis.
- Foster an evidence-based public dialogue between government and non-government stakeholders, including the business community, on legal approximation and other aspects of Ukraine’s EU accession.
- Raise public awareness of the short- and long-term economic implications of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
Key Activities:
- Policy analysis and impact assessment. Conduct research and public policy analysis using an updated and well-documented computable general equilibrium (CGE) model of the Ukrainian economy as a core analytical tool.
- Public dialogue. Facilitate consultations and engagement among public authorities, the expert community, the business sector, and other stakeholders.
- Communication and outreach. Disseminate the project’s analytical findings and communicate its key conclusions and recommendations to the public.
