How can Ukraine’s reconstruction system become more transparent, better coordinated, and more responsive to the needs of local communities? This is the focus of the new RISE Ukraine Shadow Report.

The event will present the report’s key findings and recommendations, followed by a discussion with representatives of the government, local communities, international partners, and civil society on:

  • how to move from a fragmented reconstruction system towards a coherent one;
  • how to strengthen coordination among the government, the Agency for Restoration, local communities, donors, and civil society;
  • how to make public investment and the DREAM system more effective;
  • how to put the Build Back Better principle into practice through accessibility, energy resilience, environmental standards, and quality planning.

The programme includes a presentation of the RISE Ukraine Shadow Report and two panel discussions featuring representatives of the government, local communities, international financial institutions, the expert community, and the RISE Ukraine coalition.
