In this issue:
- The agreement between Ukraine and Canada on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters has been approved;
- The Government is improving the information and communication system for border control;
- Delivery locations for goods opened under the previous rules will continue operating until 28 September 2026;
- Amendments to the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Montenegro have been submitted for ratification;
- Amendments to the Agreement on Political Cooperation, Free Trade and Strategic Partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom have been submitted for ratification;
- The introduction of VAT on e-commerce transactions and a reduction in the tax-free threshold for parcels sent by international postal and express delivery services have been proposed;
- The transition period for obtaining authorisations to place goods under customs procedures based on a customs declaration is coming to an end;
- The transition period for permits to carry out customs brokerage activities included in the Register of Customs Brokers ends on 19 April 2026.
