How is Ukraine’s war-damaged social infrastructure being rebuilt, and who ensures the quality of this work? This report follows journalists and civil society activists as they inspect reconstructed facilities in the frontline city of Mykolaiv and the recently liberated town of Borodianka as part of the “Ukraine Recovery Spending Watchdog” project. The project aims to establish an independent system for monitoring public and donor funds allocated to Ukraine's recovery, assess the effectiveness of their use, and engage civil society in monitoring the recovery process
