A common future. Poland and Ukraine in the European single market

This project builds on the previous initiative, “Ukraine’s Path to the EU: Poland’s Accession Experience,” implemented by IER and WEI in 2023–2024. The new phase focuses on sectoral dialogue between Ukraine and Poland in the context of Ukraine’s EU accession negotiations. The project addresses shared challenges and opportunities for cooperation in agriculture, transport, labour migration, infrastructure, and participation in Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction.
Project goal:
To strengthen mutual understanding between Ukraine and Poland in the context of Ukraine’s EU accession by establishing a joint expert base, developing policy solutions, and creating a permanent dialogue platform.
Expected results:
- 6 online discussions with at least 100 participants each;
- 1 hybrid event in Poland with a minimum of 5 Ukrainian participants and over 40 total participants;
- 6 short analytical summaries;
- 2 in-depth analytical papers;
- At least 50 social media publications;
- At least 2 media articles based on project materials.
