The Recovery Spending Watchdog №5, January 2024

The Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting, the Centre for Economic Strategy, and Technologies of Progress have presented the fifth issue of The Recovery Spending Watchdog.

The report covers the regulatory framework and progress of reconstruction, recovery financing, monitoring of specific areas, including the restoration of water supply systems and demining, as well as journalistic investigations and media coverage of reconstruction.

The special focus of the fifth issue is the disposal and reuse of construction waste for recovery. It examines new rules for managing demolition waste, opportunities for its recycling and reuse in construction, as well as challenges related to hazardous materials, including asbestos.
