The Recovery Spending Watchdog №16, February 2025
The Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting, the Centre for Economic Strategy, and Technologies of Progress have presented the sixteenth issue of The Recovery Spending Watchdog.
The report covers the regulatory framework, the progress and financing of reconstruction, procurement analysis, journalistic investigations, and monitoring of specific areas, including education and demining.
The special focus of the issue is the reconstruction of critical infrastructure. We examine key critical infrastructure sectors, recovery needs, sources of financing, and the progress of reconstruction in the energy, transport, water, and urban infrastructure sectors. Particular attention is paid to governance, coordination, and transparency challenges, as well as recommendations for improving the effectiveness of reconstruction.
